Climate events in Draughton

A successful evening’s event, focusing on climate change and the village’s projects to move towards net zero targets (Draughton Action to Zero: DAZ), took place last week in the village hall.  There was unanimous support from villagers for the DAZ projects, including potential proposals for the installation of a local wind turbine on the outskirts of the parish.

This event was followed later in the week by our traditional Harvest Festival service, with a talk and slideshow presented afterwards by an environment specialist.
