Fund raising for St Augustine’s – Lunchtime Concert on 28 January

Following the success of the fund-raising concert held in Draughton last year, the church has arranged a second such event on:

Saturday 28 January at 12 noon in Holy Trinity Church

The concert will take the form of a lunchtime recital of church music with the theme “From Epiphany to Candlemas” performed by the choir of St Margaret’s Church Ilkley.  The programme includes traditional music for this period, offering inspiration to those already familiar with vocal writing for the season’s key dates and an excellent introduction for those as yet uninitiated.

The concert is part of the church’s carbon neutral project, to raise money for insulating the church of St Augustine’s Draughton, so please do come, enjoy, and donate generously!
